The Alliance Française de Providence has been in existence since 1901 and is part of the largest network of French language and cultural centers in the world. There are 1070 Alliance chapters established in 136 countries. Wherever you go (Brazil, China, Hungary?) you can walk in and you are at home, chez vous, at the Alliance Française!

LES LUTINS DU COURT-MÉTRAGE / FRENCH SHORT FILM FESTIVAL
Starting Friday February 12 until June 11 at 7:00 pm
French Short Film Festival Les Lutins du Court-Métrage. The Short Film Leprechauns
28 movies will be shown during the winter and spring season on Friday night at the alliance francaise. In french subtitled in english.
For twelve years, the Lutins du court-métrage have been working to promote and disseminate short films to a wider audience.
More than 2,000 film professionals vote each year in a format inspired by the Césars to determine the 25 best short films of the year, thereby bestowing upon them a mark of excellence. Supported by numerous partners, including the Ministry of Culture, the National Center of Cinematography (CNC), the mayor's office of Paris and the National Theater of Chaillot, the Leprechauns of the short film thus participate in discovering young directors, actors and actresses who will be making the films of tomorrow.
