Part-Time Qualified Teachers: The Alliance Française of Providence always seeks experienced French teachers, preferably native speakers. Minimum 3 years teaching experience and/or FLE or French language-teaching degree required. The Alliance Française seeks teachers of Spanish, Italian and/or Arabic every once in a while.

INTERNSHIPS

Who can be an Intern?

Interns are usually college or graduate students. While interns are usually older students, like juniors or seniors, freshman and sophomores can seek out internships as well. Having several internships while in college can be very impressive to potential employers. Why intern at the Alliance?
Interns at the Alliance Française of Providence helps ensure the efficiency and quality of the many programs and services offered by the organization. In order to gain work experience or satisfy requirements for a qualification, It’s an opportunity to engage yourself in Atlanta’s Francophone community with others who share the same interests and passions as you. Interns not only provide valuable support to the Alliance staff, but also serve as ambassadors for the Alliance to the general public.

Internships are available in Marketing, Development, Education, and Operations. Interns must commit to at least 15 hours a week preferably for a period of 6 months with us.

VOLUNTEER

Why volunteer at the Alliance Française of Providence?

Volunteering with us is an opportunity to engage yourself in the local francophone community and with others who share the same interests as you. You will not only provide valuable support to the staff, but also serve as ambassadors to the Alliance and get a chance to promote the Francophone culture. Our volunteers help the Alliance Française of Providence ensure the efficiency and quality of the programs and services offered by the organization.

Volunteers may be asked to carry out such tasks as:

  • Setting up and breaking down cultural events

  • Updating databases

  • Prepping development documents

  • Assisting with fundraising events

  • Helping in administrative tasks

  • Be in charge of the Library

  • Provide technical support (if knowledgeable)

  • etc.
