Opening hours

The Library of the Alliance Française de Providence is open September through June:

Mon-Thu 12 pm - 5 pm / Fri and Sat 10 am - 2 pm

Borrowing information

  • Library borrowing privileges may be obtained upon presentation of a valid membership card of the Alliance Française of Providence

  • Up to three books and one video may be borrowed at one time per membership card

  • Magazines must be read at the Alliance Française of Providence and cannot circulate

  • The loan period is 21 days for books

  • The loan period is 7 days for videos

  • Borrowing privileges are limited to a total of three items per AF card

  • Renewals:

    •        a. Books borrowed may be renewed one time

           b. Newly acquired books (nouveautés) and videos cannot be renewed

  • Library users will be fined $ .50 per day per item for overdue items

  • Library users are responsible for the payment of damaged/lost items at current market value.
