L'Atelier d'écriture / Writing Club

Do you write in French occasionally ? Or, do you wish you could but never find the time to do so, or simply don't know where to start ? L'Atelier d'écriture is probably for you ! The goal of the class is to explore the pleasure of writing, to have fun through a number of small exercises, which, by setting some simple constraints on the time, style, or contents, reduce the fear of the empty white page.

Everyone will have a chance in each class to produce small texts that will surprise, amuse, or touch oneself and others.

All the writing and discussion will be in French. Non-native and native French speakers are all welcome to participate. The focus will be on having fun in writing. -It is not intended to be a French class-

French poems and nouvelles

The Alliance is seeking authors who have created poems and nouvelles in French in the Rhode Island area. The project is to collect then select the best writings and compile them all in a book.
