Andre Zalzal. Originally from Cairo and from Lebanese extraction, Andre spoke French and Arabic as his first languages. He went to the Jesuit College de la Sainte Famille in Cairo. He studied medicine at the university Ein Shams in Cairo and went for 2 years of post doctoral studies in England before moving to the United States in 1964. He specialized in obstetrics and gynecology at Rhode Island Hospital and Women and Infants Hospital. Andre served 2 years in the Medical Corps of the US Army. He had a private practice in Fall River, MA.
