Magali Boutiot, Executive Director

Dear visitor,

If you are on this page, it's probably because you'd love to know who is in charge of this friendly organization ! Here's my very short story just for you : Born in France, I lived in Canada (Montréal region) for over 15 years, and moved from Quebec to Rhode Island in 2004. I must admit that living in with the English lauguage 24 hours a day -yes, even during the night- was a source of frequent brain-freeze ! This is why I became immediately a volunteer for our chapter in Providence. In 2005, I was asked to join the board and in 2006, to assist our President. Then, I became the Vice-President until I was appointed in june 2008 as your Director.

I'm very happy and proud to be a part of this growing organization. As an optimistic person, I have faith in human capabilities to support each other. You are the source of our inspiration. Let's, talk, share, help, discuss all together, come and meet me at the office, let's have a coffee, a croissant (on Fridays), a lunch, let's watch a French movie, or even sing together. If you are shy about speaking French, please no worries, You just have to listen to my french accent and you'll feel better immediately, I promise !

Let's keep it simple, life is too short to make it complicated !

Au plaisir de vous rencontrer bientôt,

Your friend,

Magali

Tracey Corporan, Language Academy Administrator

Hello everyone, I am in charge of the Language school, the memberships and the bookkeeping here at the Alliance. I was born and bred in central London in England and studied French in Paris and the South of France during 8 years. I then came over to live in Rhode Island in 2000. The Alliance française was the first place I worked. I also teach ESL to the immigrant population and overseas students who come from different countries. Please, do not hesitate communicating with me at the office. I will be pleased to help you.

Best regards,
Tracey
